In this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn how to make a mug from scratch! Mugs will be made with the slab-building technique that I use for all of my mugs. Emphasis will be placed on creating a functional mug that feels nice in your hand and feels good to drink from.

Perfect for beginners - no experience necessary! If you’re interested in learning different handbuilding techniques in addition to slab, please checkout the “Intro to Handbuilding” workshop. Class sizes are limited to just 4 students, guaranteeing I will have opportunities to help everyone individually with their projects.

Please note I require a minimum of 3 students for each workshop session. If there are fewer than 3 people enrolled in a workshop, I will get in touch with you to reschedule your workshop to a later date. Sign up with your friends to ensure your workshop date!

• You will make one functional mug

• Your piece will be fired and glazed for you! All items will be glazed with your choice of glossy white or aqua, or blue/gray glaze

• Items will be ready to pickup in 3-4 weeks from workshop date. I will email you when your project is ready for pickup. Select PICKUP at checkout.

• If you are unable to pick up your piece, I’d be happy to ship it to you! Please select this option at checkout.
