Workshop & Private Lesson Policies
Cancellation & Refund policy
Workshop and Private Lesson fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled workshop or lesson, you have an option to reschedule or transfer your seat to a friend if you contact me at least 7 days in advance. Private lesson sessions are scheduled to coincide with kiln firings, so a missed session will not be rescheduled for you unless coordinated at the time of booking. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop or lesson date & time are non-refundable and non-transferable.
group workshop scheduling
Group workshops require a minimum of 3 enrolled students. Workshops will be rescheduled to a later date if the minimum quota isn’t reached by 7 days in advance of the workshop.
communications
All communications about workshop and lesson scheduling, coordination, and item pickup will be via email. Communications will go through the email address that you use at checkout - please make sure you have access to that email account.
Project pick-up
Due to the nature of ceramics, projects made during workshops and lessons will be completed after the final session. Please allow for a minimum of 4 weeks for items to be fired and completed. Students will be notified via email when pieces are ready to be picked up at the studio in Monterey. If you are unable to pickup your projects in person, there is an option to pay for domestic shipping and handling. Pieces will be held for a maximum of 30 days after notification of completion. Items left beyond this 30 day window will be discarded.
